Mager pensioen in Coalitieakkoord

Op pensioengebied is uitvoering van het pensioenakkoord de eerste prioriteit voor het nieuwe kabinet. Uiterlijk in 2027 moeten alle huidige pensioenovereenkomsten in Nederland zijn omgezet in een premieregeling. Met deze pensioenhervorming wordt een belangrijke stap gezet naar een toekomstbestendig pensioenstelsel. Met het pensioenakkoord zijn echter niet alle problemen opgelost. De deelname aan bestaande regelingen staat onder druk door de veranderende werkvormen (zzp, flexwerk) en het dalende enthousiasme van werkgevers (en werknemers) om een pensioenregeling in de arbeidsvoorwaarden op te nemen. Daarnaast hebben de lage rente en de toenemende financiële risico’s in pensioenen tot een discussie geleid over de gewenste balans tussen kapitaaldekking en omslagfinanciering. Beide punten zijn door het vorige kabinet voor zich uitgeschoven; het is teleurstellend dat ook in het Coalitieakkoord er geen enkele aandacht is voor deze vraagstukken.
